ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTH PARK WATER ADMINISTRATION BUILDING EXPANSION (BID# 26-2526) MACHESNEY PARK, ILLINOIS Sealed bids for the construction of the Administration Building Expansion Project will be received by the North Park Water at 1350 Turret Drive, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115 until 10:00 a.m., local time, March 13, 2026, for the Administration Building Expansion Project, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work generally consists of additions and alterations to the existing administration building, construction of a new barn, and demolition of an existing barn, including all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for a General Contract (all trades). A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 23, 2026, at the North Park Water Office, 1350 Turret Drive, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115. Bidding Documents will be available beginning February 11, 2026, by contacting Larson & Darby. Access to procurement and contracting documents will be provided to prime bidders only. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bidders must be properly licensed to perform the work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Insurance as required by the Contract Documents. This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The North Park Public Water District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
