Legal Notice - Regional and Local Plan Public Comment Period The Central Illinois Economic Development Region encompassing three workforce areas and twelve counties is making available for public comment its regional plan. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity (WIOA) Act requires States, regions and local workforce areas to develop plans that will be implemented over the next four years. The plan will develop, align and integrate the region and local area's job driven workforce development systems, and provide a platform to achieve the local vision and goals. The region includes the counties of: Cass, Christian, Greene, Logan, Macon, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Sangamon, Scott and Shelby.
