Public Hearing Notice Notice of Public Hearing Reagan Mass Transit District State of Illinois Downstate Area Programs, Section 5311 and 5311F. The Combined Application of Non-Metro Public Transportation Capital/Operating Assistance and Intercity Bus Applications Notice. Notice is hereby given for a public hearing will be held by Reagan Mass Transit District on the following date: Date: March 30, 2026 Time: 1:00 PM Room: RMTD Conference Room Place: Reagan Transit Center 210 E Progress Drive, Dixon, IL 61021 I. For the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from Illinois Department of Transportation, pursuant to the Illinois Department of Transportation?s general authority to make such Grants and which is generally described as follows: A. Project Description: This Capital/Operating Assistance and Intercity Bus Applications' Notice is to provide general public transportation as required by the application, and undertaken by the State of Illinois on behalf of Reagan Mass Transit District with State and Federal funds. B. Relocation: Relocation Assistance will not be required. C. Environment: This project is being implemented to minimize environmental impacts. D. Comprehensive Planning: This project is in conformance with comprehensive transportation planning in the area. E. Elderly and Disabled: All new equipment included in this project will meet ADA accessibility rules for the elderly and persons with disabilities. II. At the hearing, Reagan Mass Transit District will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit, orally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to said project. III. Reagan Mass Transit District requests any hearing-impaired person wishing to attend this Public Hearing please notify Greg Gates, (815) 288-2117 at least one week before the scheduled hearing date so arrangements can be made to provide an interpreter. IV. A copy of the application for a state grant for the proposed project will be made available for public inspection at Reagan Mass Transit District, 210 E Progress Drive, Dixon IL 61021.
