NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERN- ING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT NUM- BER 200, MENARD AND LOGAN COUNTIES, IL- LINOIS TO SELL NOT TO EXCEED $2,000,000 WORKING CASH FUND BONDS, NOT TO EXCEED $4,000,000 SCHOOL FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFE- TY BONDS AND NOT TO EXCEED $500,000 ALTER- NATE REVENUE BONDS PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Community Unit School District Number 200, Menard and Logan Counties, Illinois (the "District"), will hold a public hearing on the 19th day of March, 2026, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. The hearing will be held in the Greenview District Meeting Room, 147 E. Palmer Street, Greenview, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds of the District in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the purpose of increasing the working cash fund of the District, bonds in an amount not to exceed $4,000,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois, by altering, reconstructing and repairing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein and bonds in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the purpose of paying costs of a new gymnasium HVAC system.
