NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 6-J, LIVINGSTON, FORD, KANKAKEE AND IROQUOIS COUNTIES, ILLINOIS TO SELL $300,000 SCHOOL FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFETY BONDS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Community Unit School District Number 6-J, Livingston, Ford, Kankakee and Iroquois Counties, Illinois (the “District”), will hold a public hearing on the 18th day of March, 2026, at 6:30 o'clock P.M. The hearing will be held in the Board of Education Room, 101 East Main Street, Kempton, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds in the amount of $300,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois, by altering, reconstructing and repairing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein.
