Notice of Public Hearing Concerning the Intent of the Board of Education of Community Unit School District Number 6, Whiteside County, Illinois to Sell $5,000,000 School Fire Prevention and Safety Bonds and $7,200,000 Working Cash Fund Bonds Public Notice is Hereby Given that Community Unit School District Number 6, Whiteside County, Illinois (the “District”), will hold a public hearing on the 16th day of March, 2026, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. The hearing will be held at the District Office, 100 East Knox Street, Morrison, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds in the amount of $5,000,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois, by altering, reconstructing and repairing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein and bonds in the amount of $7,200,000 for the purpose of increasing the working cash fund of the District.
