NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING - REVISED DATE AND TIME An in-person meeting conducted by Oswego School District 308 will now be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the District Administrative Center, 4175 Route 71, Oswego, Illinois 60543. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the District's plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who are home-schooled within the District boundaries during the 2026-2027 school year. This meeting is in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education regulations. In accordance with the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), public school districts are required to spend a portion of their Federal Part B special education funds to provide students with disabilities who are home-schooled the opportunity to equitably participate in special education services offered by the District. As part of this process, the District must conduct a public meeting to discuss its plans for fulfilling this responsibility for the up- coming school year. We want to ensure that your voice is heard during this process through your attendance and participation at the meeting. We will also share information about how students with suspected disabilities can access the District's screening and eval- uation process. Please RSVP for the meeting by emailing Sarah Fisher, Director of Special Education, at sfisher01@sd308. org. For questions, please contact Sarah Fisher at (630) 636-4631 or via email.
