Board approved construction bids for school renovations and additions.

Winterset Community SchoolsSpecial SessionMeeting Minutes 04/29/2026 – 12:00 PMThe Board of Education of the Winterset Community School District met in special session in the Administration Board Room, 303 Wambold Drive, Winterset, IA at 4:30 p.m. The public was invited to attend in person or view the board meeting virtually using a link provided on the agenda. Present at the meeting were President Jared McDonald, Vice President Gina Robinson, Directors Tim Mohs, Jeremey Frease, and Ross Rethmeier.   	1.	Call Meeting to Order		President McDonald called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.	2.	Approve Agenda- Motion by Robinson, second by Frease to approve the 			agenda.  Motion carried by unanimous vote.	3.	Discussion of construction project options		Superintendent Gross discussed construction project options.	4.	New Business			a.	Consideration and action on construction bids for the Multiple				Prime Contracts for the Phase 1A Bid Package B (Rebid) and				Phase 2A Winterset CSD JR/HS Additions and Renovations				Project				Motioned by Rethmeier, second by Mohs to consider and act on				construction bids for the Multiple Prime Contracts for the Phase 1A				Bid Package B (Rebid) and Phase 2A Winterset CSD JR/HS Additions				and Renovations Project. Motion carried by unanimous vote.  			b.	Resolution approving the contracts and bonds for construction of				the Multiple Prime Contracts for the Phase 1A Bid Package B				(Rebid) and Phase 2A Winterset CSD JH/HS Additions and				Renovations Project				Motioned by Rethmeier, second by Robinson to approve the contracts				and bonds for construction of the Multiple Prime Contracts for the				Phase 1A Bid Package B (Rebid) and Phase 2A Winterset CSD JH/HS				Additions and Renovations Project.
