POCAHONTAS COUNTYBOARD OF SUPERVISORSRegular SessionSupervisors Room, CourthousePocahontas, Iowa April 21, 2026The Board of Supervisors of Pocahontas County, Iowa, met for a regular session pursuant to adjournment. Members present: Chairman, Louis Stauter; Supervisors, Clarence Siepker, Kyle Smith, Brent Aden; Nita Hinrickson, Auditor. Peter Seehusen – telephone. Others present: Erin Sommers, Reporter; Mary Jo Litwiller, Econ Dev Director; Tate Schmeling, Engineer.Motion by Smith, seconded Aden by to approve the minutes from April 14, 2026 as presented. Ayes all, motion carried.Motion by Siepker, seconded by Aden to approve the agenda as posted. Ayes all, motion carried.Schmeling received quotes for a wheel loader with trade in. After test driving, their recommendation was the 2021 Caterpillar. Motion by Smith, seconded by Aden to approve Rouse Excavation & Construction Invoice for JT 63 Br 10 Tile for $1,055.00. Ayes all, motion carried. Motion by Aden, seconded by Smith to approve Kent Malm Invoice for JT 63 Br 10 Tile for $40.00. Ayes - Siepker, Stauter, Smith, Aden. Abstain – Seehusen. Motion carried. Motion by Aden, seconded by Siepker to approve Manure Management Plans: (1) Seehusen Finisher –ID# 61832SE SW, Section 30, Sherman Township Middle Creek Swine, LLC as owner & Steve Licht as contact person.
