PUBLIC NOTICE As per Iowa Code 331.302 and331.305, the Mills County Boardof Supervisors will hold a publichearing on the 12th day of May,2026 at 8:15 a.m. in the Boardof Supervisors' Meeting Room onthe Main Floor of the Mills CountyCourthouse located at 418 SharpStreet, Glenwood, and Mills County,Iowa. The Board of Supervisorsintends to amend Chapter 21. The Board of Supervisors intendsto amend said Chapter to allowthe County Sheriff Departmentmore control over the appropriatesupervision and staffing of adultdependent care facilities within thecounty and allow for the recovery ofpublic safety response costs whererepeated events occur due to pre-ventable operational deficiencies.
