NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ONTHE COMPREHENVISE SOLID WASTEMANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE IXFOR THE SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA LANDFILL 2520 STATE HIGHWAY 92WINTERSET, IOWAYou are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held on the Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan for the South Central Iowa Landfill on the 20th day of May 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the Landfill Office, 2520 State Highway 92, Winterset, Iowa. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the comprehensive plan update development process. All members of the public are invited to attend and may make statements about the Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan process. In addition, comments may be submitted in writing at that time, or before and said comments shall be made a part of the public record concerning this hearing. A copy of the current Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan Update VIII may be reviewed at the Landfill Office, 2520 State Highway 92, Winterset, Iowa.
