Sabattus Sanitary District To Our Customers: The Sabattus Sanitary District will be filing a rate schedule with the Maine Public Utilities Commis- sion to be effective July 8, 2026 & July 1, 2027. A public hearing will be held on June 1, 2026 5:00 PM at the Sabattus Sanitary District's Office. The purpose of this hearing is to present proposed water rates. which are intended to increase the District's annual revenues b) $39,985 in 2026 & $41,708 in 2027. This represents an 15% increase in total revenue for 2026 and a 15% percent increase in 2027 (or a total of 30% increase through December 31, 2027). The increase is necessitated by for rising operating costs. It is also understood that the District will fund the replacement of fixed assets which will need to be upgraded in the very near future. The Trustees of the district did not want to burden all the user with a 30% rate increase all at once and has decided to split the increase in half over the next two years. Annual i
