NOTICE TO HISTORIC RESTORATION GENERAL CONTRACTORS The Asbury Park African-American Music Project (AP-AMP) seeks experienced Historic Restoration General Contractors who specialize in or have subcontractors who specialize in interior finish carpentry, wood floor restoration, door restoration, interior finishing, and the sensitive installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in historic fabric to submit prequalification statements for the: Interior Rehabilitation at the Turf Club 1200 Springwood Avenue Asbury Park, Monmouth County, New Jersey 07712 The project generally consists of the following: 1. New interior partition with historic fabrication; 2. Interior doors (replication); 3. Wood flooring; 4. New electrical and lighting; 5. New plumbing, including accessible restrooms; 6. New HVAC systems installation; 7. Surface preparation and painting. All prospective bidders must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of projects of similar scope and nature that followed the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Revised 1995) performed to the satisfaction of the Owner.
