Legal Notice for Lodi Memorial Library By authority of the Board of Library Trustees, sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on May 5, 2026, by the Board of Library Trustees of the Lodi Memorial Library for the renovation of the library. Any bids received after 2:00 p.m. will not be accepted. The project consists of the renovation of the existing main library space. The creation of a new teen program room under the mezzanine. The work includes but is not limited to: demolition, millwork, doors, partitions, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, low-voltage systems, Audio Visual, and moving. Responses shall be submitted in duplicate on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope marked as noted within the Bidding Documents on the outside and addressed to: Sara Ketterer, Library Director, Lodi Memorial Library. Responses are to be mailed or hand delivered to the Lodi Memorial Library, 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi, NJ 07644. An optional pre-bid site conference and walk-through for contractors will be held on April 15th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lodi Memorial Library, 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi, NJ 07644. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Lodi Memorial Library equal to 10% of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. The Lodi Memorial Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the prequalification procedures and to approve trade contractors and vendors to bid in a manner serving the interest of the Lodi Memorial Library. All bidders must comply with the applicable New Jersey Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages, and bidders must comply with the New Jersey Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws. All bidders must comply with requirements listed in the documents. Bidding documents which include Project Manual and Project Drawings will be on file and may be obtained by bidders on April 7, 2026, after 12:00 p.m., for electronic distribution through Lodi Memorial Library's website: https://www.lodilibrarynj.org/renovation-contrusting-documents.html.
