NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Roosevelt Board of Education, at the Office of the School Business Administrator, 2A School Lane, Roosevelt, NJ 08555, no later than 12:00 Noon Thursday, April 30, 2026 for a single overall construction contract for: HVAC and Roofing System Upgrades at Roosevelt Public School Roosevelt School District Roosevelt, NJ 08555 Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter in the Roosevelt Public School, 2A School Lane, Roosevelt, NJ 08555. As of Monday, April 13, 2026, Bid Documents may be examined at the Roosevelt Public School, 2A. Bid Documents may also be examined at the Office of James Nichols Architecture LLC, 245 Nassau Street, Suite 2A, Princeton, NJ 08540. Please call 609-439-8484 or e-mail jpnarch@gmail.com to schedule an appointment. Bid Documents, in PDF Format, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50 to James Nichols Architecture LLC, may be obtained from the Architect by e-mailing a request to jpnarch@gmail.com. Paper drawing sets will also be available upon request from FLM Graphics, 741 Alexander Road, Princeton, NJ 08450. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held beginning at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026 in the Multi-Purpose Room of Roosevelt Public School, Roosevelt, NJ 08555. The Bidders are advised that all applicable Federal, State, and Municipal laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, including the Public Schools Contracts Law NJSA 18A:18A-1, and the Affirmative Action Requirements at P.L. 1975, c.127, of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction work in the locality of the project, shall apply to this contract throughout. This project is funded in part by a Section 15 ROD Grant from the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), and must abide by its regulations and requirements. All bidders must be pre-qualified by the NJ Department of the Treasury (DPMC) and by the NJSDA , in General Construction C008 or General Construction/Alterations C009, and Category: C039, HVAC Work, prior to the date bids are received. Named subcontractors, including Category Roofing TPO-C076 shall also be DPMC and NJSDA Pre-Qualified. All questions pertaining to the contract documents, technical sections, legal documents, and bid submission shall be directed to James Nichols Architecture LLC via e-mail to jpnarch@gmail.com. The Roosevelt Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to New Jersey Statutes and to make an award deemed to be in the best interest of the School District.
