TOWNSHIP OF MIDDLETOWN MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY NOTICE Ordinance 2025-3498 was introduced at the meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Middletown, held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. On Monday March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., Ordinance No. 2025-3498 will be further considered for final passage and adoption at a public hearing to be held by the Township Committee at which time all interested members of the public may address the Township Committee on the ordinance. ORDINANCE 2026-3498 AMENDING CHAPTER 465, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, TO ADDRESS PARKING ON BRIARCLIFF PLACE WHEREAS, the Township of Middletown (the “Township”)'s Police Department Traffic and Safey Bureau has recommended that parking be restricted at all times on the south side of Briarcliff Place. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Middletown in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 465-95 of the Code of the Township of Middletown is hereby amended as follows: In accordance with the provisions of § 465-4, no person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the following described streets or parts thereof: Name of Street Briarcliff Place Side South Location Entire Length [SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, subsection or paragraph of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative, in whole or in part, by a court of competent jurisdiction, such chapter, section subchapter or paragraph shall to the extent that is not held unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative remain in full force and effect and shall not affect the remainder of this ordinance. SECTION 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts of ordinances and resolutions which are inconsistent with provisions of this ordinance shall be, and are hereby, repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.
