LEGAL NOTICE PLEASE BE ADVISED that 3G Corp./Goldmont Shopping Center has made application to the Howell Township Planning Board for Amended Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan Approval of for premises known as 6788 Route 9, also known as Block 71, Lot 1.01. This property is located in the HD-1S (Highway Development 1 South) Zone District of the Township of Howell, and is 510,904+/- square feet in size. The property is presently improved with four existing buildings comprised of one office building, one stand-alone retail building and two shopping center buildings. No revisions to the building and/or site improvements are proposed by the applicant at this time. The applicant is proposing to convert an existing storefront of the main shopping center building to accommodate the expansion of the tenant, ”Amazing Savings”. Minor façade changes, including replacement of the treatment of the columns around the store frontage, replacement of portions of the wall façade, the removal of two existing façade signs, and replacing with one new additional façade sign are proposed. The new additional façade sign is for purposes of identifying the expanded “Amazing Savings” store. This will result in “Amazing Savings” store having a total of three façade signs. Variance relief for same is required. Each business is permitted one (1) façade sign. The applicant is proposing increasing the number of façade signs from two (2) to three (3) for “Amazing Savings”. The applicant reserves the right to request additional bulk variance and/or design waiver relief if same is determined to be necessary or appropriate by the Board or its staff prior to or during the public hearing. This matter is presently scheduled to be heard by the Howell Township Planning Board at their regularly scheduled meeting of March 5, 2026, which meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M., in the Howell Township Municipal Building located at 4567 Route 9 North, Howell Township, New Jersey. At said time and place you may appear in person or through an attorney to express your concerns and/or objections with regard to this application.
