Public Notice Local Governments - Public Hearing Announcement PURPOSE: The Borough of Bernardsville is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Michael J. Nervine Memorial Park located at 166 Mine Brook Road with the nearest crossroad being Old Quarry Road in the Borough of Bernardsville. PROJECT SCOPE: The Borough of Bernardsville proposes to create the following new facilities at Michael J. Nervine Memorial Park: expanded pedestrian trail and vegetative plantings; and to renovate the following facilities: the existing pond and stream channels onsite. A concept plan showing the proposed modifications, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: www.bernardsville.gov. PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held in person, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
