Chatham Borough NOTICE TO BIDDERS LEGAL NOTICE Sealed Bids will be received by the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Chatham, New Jersey, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00 am. prevailing time and opened and read in public at the Chatham Borough Municipal Building, 54 Fairmount Avenue for the following: GRASS AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE Specifications may be examined in the office of the Borough Clerk, 54 Fairmount Ave, Chatham Borough, New Jersey, 07926 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any person, firm, or corporation desiring a copy of the Specification Documents may obtain such from the Borough Clerk's Office. Bidders must use the prepared Proposal Form. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Chatham Borough, marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the contract being bid, and delivered on or before the hour set forth above. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE BID OPENING HAS COMMENCED. Contracts will be awarded based on price and the needs of the Borough. Bidding information contained in this Proposal should be clear and not subject to qualifications, deletions, erasures, or other marking that create any doubt as to its meaning. Bidders should make sure that Bid Proposal is signed by a duly authorized person on behalf of the bidder and that the Proposal is responsive. Bidders can determine the responsiveness of their Proposal by reading "Information to Bidders". INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY OR THE BID MAY BE DECLARED NON-RESPONSIVE. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept such bids as it may deem to be in the best interests of the Borough of Chatham and reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids received, and the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt.
