NOTICE: Notice of proposed issuance, renewal, modification and/or termination of non-domestic wastewater discharge permits.
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Middlesex County Utilities Authority (MCUA) intends to issue, renew, modify and/or terminate the following non-domestic wastewater discharge permits:
 
PERMIT RENEWAL: Ashland LLC, Parlin
 
at the regularly scheduled meeting of the MCUA Commissioners to be held at 4:00 p.m., March 24, 2026, at the Board Room, Middlesex County Utilities Authority, 2571 Main Street Extension, Sayreville, New Jersey.
 
The proposed permit actions are necessary to implement the provisions of the MCUA Industrial Pretreatment Program which has been developed and prepared pursuant to Federal Regulations, 40 CFR Part 403 and as a requirement of N.J.S.A.58:11-49 et seq.
 
The proposed permit actions, prepared by the MCUA staff, are based upon administrative records on file at the MCUA offices located at 2571 Main Street Extension, Borough of Sayreville, Middlesex County. They are available for inspection by appointment, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments for inspection may be scheduled by calling (732) 721-3800.
 
Comments on a permit action may be made prior to or at the meeting. Written comments may be submitted to the Executive Director at the address cited above prior to the meeting. All comments submitted by interested persons in response to this notice will be considered by MCUA with respect to their permit application. If there are no substantive comments submitted or testimony given, the permit may be approved at the meeting noticed above.
