NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances published herewith by title were introduced and passed upon first reading at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Morristown, in the County of Morris, NJ, held on February 17, 2026. They will be considered for final passage at a meeting of said Town Council on March 10, 2026 at 7:30PM at which time formal action may be taken.

ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY AMENDING COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN MANAGEMENT/NON-UNION POSITIONS IN THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY AND AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES CONCERNING SUCH COMPENSATION HERETOFORE ADOPTED
Purpose: To establish compensation ranges for Third Class Special Police Officers

At the date and time stated for further consideration, a public hearing shall be held where all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning this ordinance. The time and date for further consideration of this ordinance is subject to amendment by the Town Council of the Town of Morristown. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of said ordinance will be made available in the Office of the Town Clerk located at 200 South Street, in said Town, to the members of the public who shall request same.
