In compliance with New Jersey Election Law, the Morris County Board of Elections Administrator, Dale A. Kramer, wishes to inform all residents of Morris County that on November 21, 2025, Governor Murphy issued a Writ of Election to fill the vacancy in the House of Representatives in the Eleventh Congressional District due to the resignation of the Honorable Mikie Sherrill. STATE OF NEW JERSEY EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT WRIT OF ELECTION WHEREAS, as of November 20, 2025, a vacancy exists in the representation of this State in the House of Representatives of the United States in the Eleventh Congressional District due to the resignation of the Honorable Mikie Sherrill; and WHEREAS, under these circumstances, N.J.S.A. 19:3-27 and N.J.S.A. 19:27-4 require that a Writ of Election be issued by the Governor of the State of New Jersey, and under N.J.S.A. 19:27-6, the Writ may prescribe the dates for a special primary and general election for the purpose of filling such vacancy; NOW, THER
