PUBLIC NOTICE
R E S O L U T I O N
NO.: 2025-053
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Authority posted a Public Notice requesting qualifications, in accordance with NJSA 19:44A-20.4 et seq., for the position of General Counsel, for 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority received one (1) response to the Request for Qualifications, specifically from Neil D. Marotta, Esq., of Marotta & Garvey; and
WHEREAS, the qualifications from Neil D. Marotta, Esq., of Marotta & Garvey, Union City, New Jersey are found to be most advantages to the Authority,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Parking Authority of the Township of North Bergen, that the Chairman of the Parking Authority is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, with Neil D. Marotta, Esq., of the firm Marotta & Garvey, as General Counsel, for the provision of legal services, pursuant to the Request for Qualifications and qualifications submitted, a copy of which are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, by reference, in a contract sum of $40,000.00, effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, or until a successor has been appointed, subject to certification that funds are available; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a notice of this action shall be printed in the Bergen Record, as required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS DULY ADOPTED BY THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NORTH BERGEN ON DECEMBER 17, 2025.
