Cedar Grove designates official newspapers for legal notices in 2026.

TOWNSHIP OF CEDAR GROVE ESSEX COUNTY NEW JERSEY  2026 OFFICIAL NEWSPAPERS / ELECTRONIC PUBLICATIONS   WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate legal publications for the year 2026 for all required legal notices; and  WHEREAS, state law requires that all legal notices required by law for the Township of Cedar Grove be advertised in local newspapers if one is published in the municipality or county until March 1, 2026; and  WHEREAS, on December 8, 2025, the Township Council of the Township of Cedar Grove, Essex County, New Jersey, adopted Agenda Item #9(c) designating the Star Ledger, Verona-Cedar Grove Times and The Herald News as the official newspapers of the Township of Cedar Grove for 2026.  WHEREAS, pursuant to P.L. 2025, c.72 starting March 1, 2026, all legal notices required by law for the Township will be published on the Township's official website and on the Secretary of State's Notices page once the link is provided by the State of New Jersey; and  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in compliance with P.L. 2025, c.72, the Township of Cedar Grove, County of Essex, State of New Jersey will verify that all public notices will be available at https://www.cedargrovenj.org/276/Legal-Public-Notices and a copy of the same will be published in the Secretary of State notices page at a link to be provided by the State; and  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Star Ledger and Verona-Cedar Grove Times are hereby designated as the electronic news sources for which notices and other matters are to be provided under the Open Public Meetings Act., N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 to 10:21.
