Notice of Ordinance Introduction Notice is hereby given that Ordinance 2026-04 entitled "AN Ordinance of the Borough of Neptune City Monmouth County, State of New Jersey, to Exceed the 2026 Municipal Budget appropriations limits and to establish a cap bank (n.J.S.a. 40A:4-45.14)" was introduced by the Governing Body of the Borough of Neptune City at a Special Meeting held on February 27, 2026. The purpose of the ordinance is to permit the increase in the Borough's actual final appropriations for FY 2026 budget from 2.5% to 3.5% as an exception and to establish a bank for any portion not used in the 2026 budget to be retained as an exception to final appropriation in either of the next two succeeding years.
