Results of the West Orange Planning Board Regular Meeting held on April 15, 2026, for the following: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-26a, on April 15, 2026, the West Orange Planning Board took the following formal action on land use applications at its regular meeting held via Zoom, which was properly noticed: Review of Proposed Ordinance The Planning Board reviewed the Draft ordinance amending Chapter 25, "Land Use Regulations," Section 47.5, "Organization," of the revised general ordinances of the Township of West Orange to permit successive terms as chairperson and vice- chairperson and determined that the proposed amendment was consistent with the Master Plan. A report to the Mayor and Council will be submitted. APPLICATION (Carried to 5/6/2026) PB-24-01 West Essex Highlands, Inc Block: 179 Lot: 32 Zone: IH-1 Warner Road The application proposing to develop a 496-unit inclusionary multifamily residential development on a vacant 120-acre property in the northwest corner of the Township has been carried to the May 6, 2026, Planning Board Regular Meeting to be held in person starting at 6:30 PM.
