STATE OF NEW JERSEY EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT WRIT OF ELECTION WHEREAS, as of November 20, 2025, a vacancy exists in the representation of this State in the House of Representatives of the United States in the Eleventh Congressional District due to the resignation of the Honorable Mikie Sherrill; and WHEREAS, under these circumstances, N.J.S.A. 19:3-27 and N.J.S.A. 19:27-4 require that a Writ of Election be issued by the Governor of the State of New Jersey, and under N.J.S.A. 19:27-6, the Writ may prescribe the dates for a special primary and general election for the purpose of filling such vacancy; NOW, THEREFORE, I, PHILIP D. MURPHY, Governor of the State of New Jersey, pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:3-27, N.J.S.A. 19:27-4 and N.J.S.A. 19:27-6, hereby issue this Writ of Election directing that a special general election be held to fill the unexpired term for the office of Member of the United States House of Representatives, Eleventh Congressional District on Apri
