Notice is hereby given that the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (Department) propo-ses to issue a New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES) Significant Indirect User (SIU) Revocation Permit Action (NJPDES Permit No. NJ0349283) in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:14A, and by authority of the Water Pollution Control Act at N.J.S.A. 58:10A-1 et seq., for the discharge into the Be-verly Sewerage Authority's wastewater treatment plant from:

Stylex Seating is a privately owned seat manufacturer. Operations at the Delanco site include metal cutting, bending, press, welding, grinding, machining, and painting operations to make frames for multi-use office seating products. Additionally, other site operations include CNC wood routing, fabric cutting, sewing, upholstery, assembly, and packaging of lounge seating products. This facility formerly discharged approximately 720 gal-lons per day (GPD) of pretreated wastewater through discharge location point designated as DSN-001L to Beverly Sewerage Authority's wastewater treatment plant. This facility was classified as a SIU pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:14A-1.2 and has an SIC Code of 2522 (Office Furniture, Except Wood). The De-partment confirmed on January 30, 2026 that the facility is no longer performing any activities requiring an SIU permit pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:14A-1.2.
A draft NJPDES revocation permit action has been prepared for this facility based on the administrative record which is on file at the offices of the Department, located at 401 East State Street, Trenton, New Jersey. It is available for inspection, by appointment, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Appointment for inspection may be requested through the Off-ice of Records Access. Written comments or a request that the Department hold a non-adversarial public hearing on the draft document must be submitted in writing to Brett Callanan, Chief, Mail Code 401-02B, Bureau of Surface Water and Pretreatment Permitting, P.O. Box 420, Trenton, NJ 08625-0420 by the close of the public comment period, which closes thirty calendar days after publication of this notice in the newspaper. Comments via email are also acceptable and can be sent to dwq_bswp@dep.nj.gov. All persons, including the applicant, who believe that any condition of this draft document is inappropriate or that the Department's decision to issue this draft document is inappropriate, must raise all reasonable arguments and factual grounds supporting their position, including all supporting materials, during the public comment period.
The Department will respond to all significant and timely comments upon issuance of the final NJPDES revocation permit action. The applicant and each person who has submitted written comments or requested notice will receive notice of the Department's permit decision.
