PUBLIC NOTICE  HOBOKEN BOARD OF EDUCATION PUBLIC MEETING   DATE: Tuesday, May 5, 2026  TIME: 7:00 pm   LOCATION: Demarest School Auditorium  158 Fourth Street, Second Floor  Hoboken, NJ 07030 AGENDA   1. Budget Hearing   Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Education of the City of Hoboken in the County of Hudson and the State of New Jersey on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Demarest School Building, located at 158 Fourth Street, Hoboken, NJ, with respect to a budget which has been tentatively adopted by the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Hoboken in the County of Hudson and the State of New Jersey for the school year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027 and the amount of money appropriated for the operation and maintenance of the public schools of said school district for the school year and with respect to various items and purposes for which the same is to be appropriated.   Action may be taken by the Board.   Information on this budget and the programs and services it provides is available on the district's website: www.hobokenschools.org   The said budget will be on file and open to the public in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Education in the Administration Building, 524 Park Avenue, Hoboken, New Jersey upon approval of the Executive County Superintendent and until the holding of said Public Hearing.
