Public hearing on annual connection fee adjustment scheduled for November 12, 2026.

RAHWAY VALLEY SEWERAGE AUTHORITY 2026 ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE   The Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority's Meeting Schedule, for the period February 19, 2026 through February 18, 2027, is as follows:  REGULAR MEETINGS are scheduled on the third Thursday of each month, with the exception of the November Meeting, which will take place on the second Thursday of the month. MEETING DATES: February 19, 2026, March 19, 2026, April 16, 2026, May 21, 2026, June 18, 2026, July 16, 2026, August 20, 2026, September 17, 2026, October 15, 2026, *November 12, 2026, December 17, 2026, January 21, 2027, and February 18, 2027.   The annual CONNECTION FEE PUBLIC HEARING is scheduled to take place on November 12, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:14A-8(b), a public hearing will be held to discuss the annual adjustment to the Authority's Connection Fee for sewer connections, to take effect January 1, 2027. The purpose of the hearing is to present evidence that the proposed adjustment is necessary and reasonable, and provide an opportunity for cross-examination of persons offering such evidence. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend, comment, and ask questions. A transcript of the hearing will be available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Authority's Administrative Office within fourteen (14) days of the hearing.  All meetings are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with the exception of the November meeting, which will take place immediately following the Annual Connection Fee Public Hearing. All meetings will be held in the Boardroom of the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority Administration Building, 1050 East Hazelwood Avenue, Rahway, NJ, 07065.   Meetings may also be held electronically via Zoom Video Conference when it is determined necessary. Instructions for accessing said meetings remotely, as well as the agendas and any relevant documentation for same, will be posted to the Authority's website: www.rahwayvalleysa. com under "Official Business > Public Notices". In the event of a remote meeting, participation will be allowed when the Chairman opens the meeting to the public. You may also submit any questions or comments to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the remote meeting via email at info@rahwayvalleysa.com.  All other meetings (Special, Emergency, etc.) will be held on an as-needed basis, with notification to two newspapers, the RVSA Commissioners, and Member Municipal Clerks.   Closed/Executive Session may be held during any of the above-scheduled meetings. Formal Action may be taken at any Regular/Special/Emergency Meeting; however, action will not be taken at any Committee Meeting.
