Rockaway Borough Board of Education  Public Meeting Notice Board of Education Retreat- 2/28/26- 8:30 AM-1:00 PM The Public is hereby notified, in accordance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, that a Board of Education Retreat of the Rockaway Borough Board of Education will be held as follows: Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026 Time: 8:30 a.m. \D 1:00 p.m. Location: Lincoln Elementary School (Cafeteria), 37 Keller Avenue, Rockaway, New Jersey 07866 Purpose of the Retreat: The purpose of this retreat is to engage in a governance-focused discussion related to Board roles and responsibilities, committee structure, communication, strategic alignment, and the Board\DSuperintendent partnership. This retreat is intended as a planning and discussion session only. No formal action will be taken at this meeting. The meeting will be open to the public. In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, a public comment period will be provided. Portions of the retreat may be discussed in executive session, if permitted by law, for matters such as personnel, negotiations, or attorney-client privilege. Any executive session will be conducted in accordance with statutory requirements.
