Hidden Meadows Farm Vegetated Treatment Area

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District (herein after referred to as the Cayuga County SWCD), Cayuga County, New York, will receive sealed bids for the Hidden Meadow Acres Barnyard Runoff Management project, on behalf of the landowner, that consists of installing a 75' x 200' vegetated treatment area (VTA) with a concrete-bottom settling basin and gravel berm, stone trench, and subsurface drainage at the site on Hardy Road, in the Town of Springport.

The specifications and bid documents are available by contacting the Cayuga County SWCD at 315-252-4171, ext. 4. Copies of the documents can be obtained for a fee of $10.00 if e-mailed or picked up at the office. They are $50.00 plus shipping, if they are mailed. Fees are non-refundable. Those receiving electronic copies are responsible for verifying receipt of all documents.

A site showing will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the site location on Hardy Road, in the Town of Springport. Contractors must attend the site showing for their bids to be accepted.

Bid proposals will be received until 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the office of the Cayuga County SWCD, 7413 County House Road, Auburn, NY 13021. Bids will be opened at 9:05 A.M. on the bid due date. Bids will not be accepted any later than 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Facsimile bids will not be accepted. E-mailed bids will be accepted. However, the Cayuga County SWCD is not responsible for the guaranteed receipt of any bids submitted electronically. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received by the bid deadline and in the proper format.

The District Board reserves the right to waive any information in bids and to reject any/or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
