PUBLIC NOTICE Town of Bolton - Town Hall Exterior Repairs The Town of Bolton, New York (in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5A of the General Municipal Law) hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for the “Bolton Town Hall Exterior Repairs” project. Bids will be received by the Town of Bolton until 2:00 PM on or before Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town of Bolton Town Hall, 4949 Lake Shore Drive, P.O. Box 7, Bolton Landing, New York, 12814, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for all sealed bids received pursuant to this notice for the furnishing of all work, labor, materials, equipment and tools in connection with the Bolton Town Hall Exterior Repairs project. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring the delivery of the sealed bid no later than the date and time specified. Use of the U.S. Postal Service or any other mail or courier service which may result in delayed delivery shall not relieve the Contractor from the conditions of the bid opening deadline. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. The Work of this Contract, as defined in greater detail by other provisions of the Contract Documents, consists of building fascia replacement, soffit repair, carpentry repair, EIFS repair, and building exterior painting. Bid Documents in the form of .pdf files may be obtained by contacting Oldenquist Design Architecture and Planning, Nina Oldenquist, Nina@OldenquistDesign.com, (518) 726-6557. A record set of documents is available for viewing at the Bolton Town Hall 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, contact the Bolton Planning Department at (518) 644-2893. Bid Documents obtained through plan rooms will not be accepted. Interested bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid walk-through April 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Accompanying each bid shall be a bid bond in the form of a certified check or bank (cashier's) check made payable to the Town of Bolton in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the Bidder's maximum bid amount, as a guarantee that if the Contract is awarded to a Bidder, said successful Bidder will comply with the Bid Documents for the Contract in accordance herewith. These will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. A “Performance Bond” and a “Labor and Materials Payment Bond” in the amount of the contract price and the form described in the Contract Documents will be required from the successful bidder. Prevailing Wage Rates for Warren County apply to all work performed. A tax exempt certificate will be provided to the successful Bidder. The Town of Bolton reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
