BID NOTICE Bid Specification for Lawn Maintenance 2026 The Spafford Fire District is accepting bids for the 2026 lawn maintenance at the Borodino and Spafford fire stations. Bidder can bid either or both locations. Sealed Bids must be received prior to the start of the April 22th meeting. The Spafford Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Borodino Station, 2500 Nunnery Road, Borodino Spafford Station, 660 Route 41, Hamlet of Spafford.Spafford Training Center, Becker Rd. *** This is as requested*** Requirements are as follows: Bidder to provide their own equipment, fuel, oils, etc. * Shall include a price per cut and shall include trimming. Trimming must be done every other mowing. * To be cut on a weekly basis or as needed by the Chief or a District Commissioner. (during the spring growing season it may be required to be cut twice a week or for special events) * Grass to be cut no less than 3 to 3-1/2 inches. * To include trimming around fence posts and fence in parking area (at Borodino Station), completely around all buildings and any edges (walls, gardens, driveways, utility’s) not reachable with mower. * Must be mowed in a professional manner. Certificate of insurance must be included with the bid.
