 Legal Notice # 21932362 BOARD OF EDUCATION LONGWOOD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 35 YAPHANK MIDDLE ISLAND ROAD MIDDLE ISLAND, NEW YORK 11953 The Board of Education of the Longwood Central School District, 35 Yaphank Middle Island Road, Middle Island, New York 11953 (hereinafter the "School District"), in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified bidders for the provision of labor, materials and services for the following contract: BID #52026-01 Coach Bus Services for Athletic Trips, Field Trips & Other Events Bid Opening: May 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Bids for the Coach Bus Services for Athletic Trips, Field Trips & Other Events Contract will be received until the above stated hour of prevailing time and date at the Longwood Central School District, located at 35 Yaphank Middle Island Road, Middle Island, New York 11953, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained in the Business Office located at 35 Yaphank Middle Island Road, Middle Island, New York 11953 beginning on April 22, 2026, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays, or by contacting Samantha Neff at samantha.neff@longwoodcsd.org. Bids must be presented on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, which are clearly marked on the outside: Bid for: "BID #52026-01 Longwood Central School District Coach Bus Services for Athletic Trips, Field Trips & Other Events Contract." All bids shall be addressed to the attention of Samantha Neff, Purchasing Agent, Longwood CSD, 35 Yaphank Middle Island Road, Middle Island, New York 11953. Bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. No phone, fax or email bids will be accepted. The School District is not responsible for delays caused by any delivery service, the internal mail delivery system of the School District or any other means of delivery employed by the Bidder. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education's judgment, is in the best interest of the School District. The Board of Education further reserves the right to consider experience, service, and reputation in connection with the services to be rendered. In addition, the Board of Education reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications as set forth in the bid specifications, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
