Three Year Service Contract REQUEST FOR BIDS The Board of Education of the Enlarged City School District of Middletown, NY, 223 Wisner Avenue, Middletown, New York 10940 announces the solicitation of bids for the following services FIRE DETECTION AND INTRUSION ALARM MONITORING AND SERVICE FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND KITCHEN HOOD FIRE SUPPRESSION MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE KITCHEN HOOD AND EXHAUST DUCT CLEANING BACKFLOW SERVICE AND TESTING INTERGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT CANADA GOOSE CONTROL SPRINKLER SYSTEM SERVICE AND TESTING Bids terms shall be for the period July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029. Written sealed bids shall be received in the Building and Grounds Department until May 20, 2026 at 1:00pm, at which time there will be a public bid opening. If the district needs to close due to an emergency, the bid opening will take place the following business day. To obtain bid forms, please contact the Building and Grounds Department @ 845-326-1194 or visit the office to obtain the packet. All service proposals shall be returned to the Building and Grounds office at 223 Wisner Avenue Middletown, NY 10940, Attention William Bartlett no later than May 20, 2026 at 1:00pm. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to accept or reject any bid or any part of any bid deemed in the best interest of the taxpayers of the Middletown City School District. All bidders are required to acknowledge the School District's Sales and Use Tax Exempt Status and the requirement for all NYS DOL Article 8, construction, and Article 9, building services contractors to pay Prevailing Wages as determined by the NYS Department of Labor.
