LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF EAST GREEN- BUSH ITB #26-05 ELLIOT ROAD WATER PIPELINE PROJ- ECT Town Pur- Sealed Bids will be re- ceived until Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Town of East Greenbush Hall, Attn: Mary Hendrick, chasing Clerk, 225 Co- lumbia Turnpike, Rens- selaer, NY 12144 until 2:00 pm local time and then at said office pub- licly opened and read aloud for: EAST GREENBUSH EL- LIOT ROAD WATER PIPE- LINE PROJECT RENS- SELAER COUNTY, NEW YORK Work shall include but is not limited to: Contract No. 1 - General Construction The scope of work in- cludes but is not limited to, installing approxi- mately 2,600 linear feet of 8" PVC water main along with water servic- es and appurtenances. Site visits are highly encouraged. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00am at the intersection of El- liot Road and Iroquois Place, East Greenbush, NY. Bids should exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. A bid bond in the amount equal to at least five (5%) percent of the Bid will be required with submission of each bid. The successful bidders, to whom the contracts are awarded, will be re- quired to provide a pay- ment and performance bond equal to the full amount of the Contract. Bids will be received on an itemized unit price basis. The Contractor must ensure that em- ployees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, religion, sex or national origin. New York State Prevail- ing Wage Requirements shall apply to this project. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwith- standing that such Bid may have been placed in a mailbox or other mail receptacle regu- larly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Drawings and Specifi- cations will be avail- able beginning Monday, April 20, 2026 by 4:30 PM through the Empire State Purchasing Group Bidnet at https://www. bidnetdirect.com or by calling the Purchas- ing Office at (518) 477- 7788.
