NOTICE TO BIDDERS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of Scarsdale Public Schools for a contractor to provide various flooring work on a time and material basis. Bid #: 2026-27-05 Bid Name: Flooring Bid Opening: May 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM Obtaining Documents: The Bid Documents, including but not limited to Instructions to Bidders, Bidding Procedures and Requirements, Qualifications of Bidders, Specifications, Technical Specifications and bid forms may be obtained by going online at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/scarsdalepublicschools, or by contacting the Purchasing Office via email at kdamelio@scarsdaleschools.org. Please indicate the Bid Name and Number in the subject line of your email request. Only those vendors who obtain bidding documents from https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/scarsdalepublicschools or via direct email from SUFSD are guaranteed to receive addendum information, if such is issued. If you obtained documents from a source other than those listed above, the School District will not guarantee the integrity of the document. Bids will be received for this contract until the prevailing time and date stated above. At the above state time and place all bids will be publicly opened. In the event that Scarsdale Union Free School District Purchasing Department is closed the day of the Bid Opening, the bid(s) will be opened at the same time, on the next day that the Scarsdale UFSD Purchasing Department is open. All bids received after the date and time stated in the Notice to Bidders will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or delivery service, or in the handling of the mail by employees of the District, other than those authorized to receive bids. The District is not responsible for bids opened prior to the time and date of the opening if the identifying information does not appear on the sealed envelope. Bids opened prior to the time and date of the opening are invalid. The District reserves the right to accept each bid by individual time, by category, by groups of items or as a whole, or in its discretion, to reject all bids and re-advertise and rebid. Bids must be presented on the proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications. No bidder shall withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the formal opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities and accept the bid that is in the best interest of the School District.
