LEGAL NOTICE Lawn Mowing of St. Remy Fire District Advertisement for Bid Ground maintenance to include: 1) Grass cutting and trimming 2) Weeding 3) Sweeping and general clean up 4) All necessary equipment will be supplied by person awarded bid. Bids are solicited for lawn mowing for the 2026 season as follows: Station One: 1) Grass cutting in the rear of the building up to the wooded area. Grass height not to exceed 4 inches. 2) Trimming to be completed with each grass cut- ting. Do not leave large clumps of grass. 3) Weeding- the area in the front of the building and along the guardrail. 4) Sweeping and general clean up to be done on a weekly basis in the area in front of the building and overhang. 5) Do not leave any debris on any buildings or parking lots Station Two: 1) Grass cutting in the rear and left side of the building up to the wood line and on the right side up to the edge of the church. Grass height not to exceed 4 inches. 2) All trimming to be completed with each grass cutting. Do not leave large clumps of grass. 3) Weeding is to be done with each mowing. 4) General clean up is to accompany each mow- ing. 5) Do not leave any debris on any buildings or parking lots Sealed bids must be submitted to the Board of Fire Commissioners no later than May 18, 2026. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This contract will become effective May 19, 2026 and will continue until a new contract is awarded the following year. The Board may agree to extra work beyond these specifications. It is in agreement that if additional work is required it will be completed upon noti- fication and approval by the Board of Fire Com- missioners. Payment for lawn mowing will be on a monthly basis following submission of a voucher which contains a list of all dates of service at each location to the Board of Fire Commissioners. The Board reserves the right to terminate this con- tract at any time for failure to comply with the terms of the contract.
