FOUR WINDS FARM - MICRO IRRIGATION SYSTEM PROJECT - District INVITATION TO BID NOTICE is hereby given, that sealed bids or pro- posals for a micro ir- rigation system in the Town of Gardiner, UI- ster County, NY, will be received at the Ulster County Soil & Water Conservation (UCSWCD), 5 Park Lane, Highland, NY 12528 un- til 2:00 p.m., local time on March 20, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time outside of the of- fice building. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to Jake Wedemeyer and shall bear on the face thereof, the name and address of the bid- der and the appropri- ate contract title: "Four Winds Farm - MICROIR- RIGATION SYSTEM PROJECT". The UCSWCD will con- duct a Pre-Bid Confer- ence and site showing on March 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Contractors interested in the site showing shall meet at the project site, which is located at 158 Marabec Rd, Gardiner, New York 12525 (street address). The contract consists of the installation of 1,075 linear feet of 3" SDR26 irrigation pipe and 310 linear feet of 2" SDR26 irrigation pipe at an av- erage depth of 3.5 feet, with the associated ap- purtenances (tees, ells, reducers, valves, thrust blocks, risers). The irri- gation system includes dredging a sump in the existing pond, as well as the installation of an electric irrigation pump and seeding and mulch- ing all soil disturbance from this project. Elec- trical hook up is not part of this project. Bid Documents may be obtained from the UC- SWCD office by email or by mail. Copies thereof may be obtained begin- ning on March 6, 2026. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record as having ob- tained the contract doc- uments. The Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District is exempt from paying sales and com- pensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and coun- ties on all materials to be incorporated into the work. Bid selection will be made to the lowest, qualified, responsible bidder. The UCSWCD reserves the right to re- ject any or all bids, to waive any informalities therein, and to select the Bid, the acceptance of which, in its judg- ment, will best assure the efficient perfor- mance of work. Bids may be held by the UC- SWCD for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigat- ing the qualifications of Bidders prior to award- ing the Contract.
