NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION BLOOMINGBURG JOINT FIRE DISTRICT PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Special Election of the Bloomingburg Joint Fire District will take place on April 7, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. at the firehouse located at 117 Godfrey Road, Bloomingburg, New York, for the following purpose: To vote upon the following proposition: “SHALL THE BOARD RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) NEW PIERCE PUMPER RESCUE FIRE TRUCK FROM FIREMATIC SUPPLY COMPANY INC. UTILIZING SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AND FINANCING SAME BY ENTERING INTO AN INSTALLMENT PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH LEASING 2, INC., STATING THAT THE FORM, TERMS AND CONTENT SHALL SUBSTANTIALLY CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 109-b OF THE NYS GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW AND OTHER APPLICABLE STATUTES AND CODES TO FINANCE AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,450,000.00 DOLLARS OVER A PERIOD OF 10 YEARS AT THE NOMINAL ANNUAL INTEREST RATE OF NOT TO EXCEED 4.65% PER ANNUM AND PROVIDING FOR 10 YEARLY PAYMENTS OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST IN THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $164,963.26 DOLLARS PER YEAR TOGETHER WITH NECESSARY EQUIPMENT IN THE SUM OF NOT TO EXCEED $150,000.00 DOLLARS FROM THE APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT CAPITAL RESERVE OR FROM OTHER AVAILABLE FUNDS WITH A TOTAL MAXIMUM COST OF NOT TO EXCEED $1,600,000.00 DOLLARS” BE APPROVED?
