COLUMBIA COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE CONCERNING THE EXAMINATION OF ASSESSMENT INVENTORY AND VALUATION DATA (Pursuant to Real Property Tax Law section 501) Notice is hereby given that assessment inventory and valuation data is available for examination and review. This data is the information that will be used to establish the assessment of each parcel, which will appear on the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Canaan which will be filed on or before May 1, 2026 The information may be reviewed by appointment only in the Assessor’s office at 1647 County Route 5 Canaan, NY 12029. Appointments are available on March 18th and 25th between the hours of 8am – 12pm.
