NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF ONTARIO COUNTY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors' Chambers, 74 Ontario Street, 2nd Floor, Canandaigua, New York on April 16, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 (Intro.) of 2026, entitled "A Local Law Opting Not to Establish a Registration System for Short-Term Rental Units Pursuant to Section 447-c of the New York State Real Property Law", which provides: As authorized by Section 447-c (1) (b) of Article 12-D of the New York State Real Property Law, the County of Ontario hereby opts not to establish a registration system for short-term rental units, as such term is defined by Section 447-a (2) of the New York State Real Property Law.
