LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEAR BY GIVEN that on February 11,2026, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Burns New York, proposed Local Law No. 1 for 2026.A Local Law to Impose a 12-month Moratorium on the issuance of land use approvals and building permits for data centers. The purpose of this Local Law is to enable the Town time to study the impacts, effects, and possible zoning controls over such activities, and to consider amendments to the Town’s land use requirements to appropriately address the same within the same within the confines of NewYork State Law. THEREFORE, pursuant to statute the Town Board will hold a public hearing on said Local Law at 6pm on Thursday,March 11,2026 at the Burns Town Hall, 87 Main Street, Canaseraga, Allegany County,New York, at which time and place all persons interested will be heard. a copy of the proposed Local Law is on file for public review at the Town Office of the Town of Burns during normal business hours.
