PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held at the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Champlain, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7:15 p.m. at the Town Office Building, 729 Route 9, Champlain New York as follows: Local Law #1 of 2026 - Local Law Imposing a Moratorium on New Applications for Battery Energy Storage Systems. Any person interested will be given an opportunity to speak, or to offer written opinions, either for or against the proposed Local Law. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at the Town Clerk's Office. The meeting is opened to the public. Other business will be taken up at this meeting.
