Bids for roof construction at MES School Building due April 7, 2026.

SECTION 001113 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Proposals for Phelps Clifton-Springs CSD (Midlakes CSD); Roof Construction (Contract No.101) at the MES School Building (Primary/Intermediate/Elementary School, Door 1) will be received by the Midlakes District Office (Located at Primary/Intermediate School, Enter in Door 20), 1490 State Route 488, Clifton Springs, NY 14432 until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 7, 2026. Bids will be opened and read aloud along with the identities of all Bidders. • Contract #101: Roof Construction Covid-19 Construction: To the extent required by SED guidance and other applicable law, construction shall continue as long as each contractor complies with social distancing requirements, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, testing and/or proof of vaccination requirements, and all applicable law and protocols in connection with COVID-19 exposure control at the job-site. The Instructions to Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions and Supplements, Drawings, and Specifications may be obtained at Rotolite-Elliott Corporation, 1 Grove Street, PO Box 97, Pittsford, NY 14534 upon deposit of $100.00 per hardcopy set (make check payable to Midlakes CSD), and also available for a non-refundable $59.00 download (Paid directly to Rotolite if preferred). Drawings and Specifications will be available after 9 a.m. local time on March 16, 2026. Any Bidder upon returning such set in good condition within seven (7) days after the date set for Bid opening will be refunded the deposit. Midlakes CSD reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the Owner, all in accordance with applicable law. Midlakes CSD further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the “Instructions to Bidders”. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with his Bid as a guarantee that in the case the contract is awarded to him, he will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and that Bidder shall not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. NYS DOL Prevailing Wage applies to this project. The work is tax exempt. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed subject to and in accordance with the contract requirements.
