Town of Middlefield Notice To Bidders The Town of Middlefield is seeking bids for lawn care for the 2026 season. Mowing will include the following. Acreage is approximated. Monthly mowing: Middlefield Center cemetery (1 acre). Springfield Hill Road cemetery. (.15 acres). Hubble Hollow Rd. cemetery (.5 acres). Rezen Rd. cemetery (.04 acres). Weekly mowing: Town hall (.15 acres). Ballfield and Fire Dept. access (1.76 acres). Schoolhouse and playground (.29 acres). *Proof of insurance due upon acceptance of bid. The Town of Middlefield reserves the right to reject any and all bids at their discretion or to accept the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets the detailed specifications best suited to the needs of the Town of Middlefield. In a case where two or more bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town of Middlefield may award the bid to either of such bidders. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of (45) days for the date of bid opening. Each bidder will submit in the bid proposal a “non-Collusion certificate” as required by New York State law. Any bid not properly executed will be considered void by order of the Town Board. A copy of the bidder's insurance certificate is required along with their bid. Please take notice: that bids will be received by hand, or mailed to the Town of Middlefield PO Box 961 Cooperstown, NY 13326 up until April 14, 2026 at noon, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Town Board to be held at the town hall on April 14, 2026 at 7pm.
