Legal Notice # 21928074 Public Notice Notice is hereby given that the fiscal affairs of the Lawrence Union Free School District for the period beginning on July 1, 2019 and ending on October 30, 2025 have been examined by the Office of the State Comptroller, and that the report of examination performed by the Office of the State Comptroller has been filed in my office where it is available as a public record for inspection by all interested persons. The report is also posted on the Lawrence UFSD Board of Education website, Lawrence.org/page/meeting-notice-schedule. Pursuant to 35 of the General Municipal Law, the Board of Education of the Lawrence Union Free School District may, in its discretion, prepare a written response to the report of examination performed by the Office of the State Comptroller and file any such response in my office as a public record for inspection by all interested persons not later than May 22, 2026.
