Legal Notice # 21927894 NOTICE OF HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of North Hempstead on March 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Town Hall, 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, to consider the adoption of the Local Law amending Chapter 51 of the Town Code entitled "Taxation" in order to establish a real property tax exemption for veterans with 100 percent service connected to disability. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning the Local Law at the time and place advertised. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the full text of the proposed Local Law will be posted on the Town's website and be on file in the Office of the Town Clerk prior to the hearing and may be examined during regular business hours.
