 Legal Notice # 21927932 NOTICE TO BIDDERS On behalf of a cooperative of School Districts in Nassau County, the Board of Education of the Massapequa Union Free School District, Massapequa, New York, in accordance with Section 103 of General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified contractors for the provision of materials for the following contract: PAINT & PAINTING SUPPLIES Bid Opening, March 10, 2026, 10:00am This is a cooperative bid. Bids for the term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027 will be received until 10:00 a.m. March 10, 2026, at the office of Timothy O' Donnell, Director of Facilities, Massapequa Union Free School District, 4925 Merrick Road, Massapequa, New York. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on March 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained starting, February 26, 2026, at www.msd.k12.ny.us/bids Bids must be presented on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside: "Massapequa Union Free School District- Cooperative Bid for Paint & Painting Supplies Contract." Bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. Each Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education's judgment, is in the best interest of the School District. The Boards of Education further reserve the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Boards of Education reserve the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, set forth in the bid specifications, of the prospective bidder in evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
